Green Smoothies

  • Easy to digest
  • A complete food, unlike juices, they retain their fiber
  • Easy to make, all the ingredients go into the blender
  • Reduce your cravings
  • Help create a good habit of including greens in your diet

Basic recipe is equal parts liquid, greens & fruit

  • Try starting with 2 cups of each
  • Begin with just 1 cup of greens & work up to 2 cups
  • Raw baby spinach is the easiest to start with
  • Frozen berries & spinach is a nice simple nourishing & cleansing combo

Blueberry Banana Ginger

  • 1 handful raw spinach
  • 2 handfuls frozen blueberries
  • 1/4 avocado
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1.5 c of water, more or less depending on the consistency you desire
  • a few dashes of ground ginger
